I'm so glad they adapted my favorite Sonic character Tom Wachowski into this movie. 10/10.

Good themes of family and friendship I guess, funny moments, tons of product placements, and not much relation to the sonic games... which I'm kind of okay with. The actual character of Sonic is quite charming but also annoying sometimes. The plot and themes of this movie, while not very related to the games, are a bit interesting and the dynamic between him and Tom is pretty good. There might be too many pop culture references though. Plus just so many jokes that aren't funny (and more than a little bit strange). Just be ready to sigh and hold your hand to your forehead more than once in this movie... like a lot more than once.

A never-ending pit of cringe and cliché. There was nothing unique in this movie besides some of Robotnik's acting, and that wasn't even very good. I laughed once (I counted). There were at least ten product placements (that I counted). It has nothing to do with the games. It's so irredeemable that I can't even pinpoint one error to fix.

A trailblazer for the Mario movie and all future modern video game movies. I had more fun than expected. I came into this movie thinking it was going to be terrible, barely referencing the game or other characters. While there were some original characters, the story is great, and Sonic and Eggman are just like they are in the games. Hopefully, future movies will have more Sonic characters and less orginal. Also, good thing they changed the design, too.
