Ghibli food got me reaching through the screen but pulling back bc I'm NOT tryna be turned into a pigðŸ˜
Everything about this movie is incredibly well-done, but what caught my attention most was the world-building. Each time a new creature or idea is introduced, you are left with a few unanswered questions that keep you engaged. As the story progresses, you sink into the world, but never get fully used to it. Needless to say, the animation and soundtrack work wonders- you almost forget it's just a movie. My only confusion was with the use of magic. It seems kinda thrown in at random without clear rules, but this is a minor issue. Overall, I highly recommend.

This movie is amazing. I was genuinely blown away by how good it was. The score and visuals are amazing, and the story of friendship and love is perfect. Chihiro is such an amazing, kind, selfless individual who helps everyone she meets. Glitched was right about how good it is. This movie is so wholesome, and it's just pure heart.

One of the best, to put it simply. You can name anything good about movies and this movie has it.

Spirited Away was a joy to watch especially with my friend I watched it with. The art style is very adorable and does not go to the stereotypical anime art style that is looked down upon. The main character ends up being adorable with their mistakes they make in the movie and just how they develop over the movie is great to see. Unfortunately it will suffer the based stat because it is technically an anime movie but I don’t care; it’s great. For the story you will be confused slightly for a little bit, but expect things to get cleared up quick if you are not looking down at your phone and then ask 'wait what’s going on?' (Scurvy, that’s you). All in all, Spirited Away is a great movie to watch alone or with friends, and coming back to it you see something new almost every time.
