The Wild Robot

The story could be interpreted/ applied to a number of different meanings and situations. I also think the writing could have been better; there's lots of solid animation here, but though it seems to have a lot to say in it's story, its execution is found wanting. The eye candy seems to overpower the food for thought.

A sweet story with pretty mid-tier writing. I'm just glad to see big-budget originals, even if they don't blow my mind or anything.

After rewatching this movie I’ve realized that the issues with it are way more prominent than the good stuff. Good looking animation and some good voice acting but mostly this movie is absolute cringe, complete with one dimensional characters, vacuous dialogue, cheesy emotionally manipulative moments, generic music, overdone cliches, and just an overall pretentious attitude that is unbearable to watch.

Tbh this movie wasn't even that bad, considering how much hate it was getting before release. The graphics were pretty good and some of the scenes were set up well for the emotional effect. The only bad moments of the movie was when Roz said "I am the wild robot". W movie but there were some unnecessary cringe moments.

A great premise with a great story. The graphics are peak and some funny shock humor moments. The only bad part was the somewhat common amount of cringe lines such as "I am the wild robot"
