Wreck-It Ralph

Pretty good Disney movie, doesn't look bad but some of the jokes are cringe

Wreck It Ralph is very unorthodox for Disney which I why I think people love it so much. Its got game references and also a creative and expansive world to it. While the story does have underlying Disney tones to it, it works well and doesn't roll off as cringe. With great characters, good humor and a good story Wreck It Ralph is definitely one of the reasons to keep Disney+

Somehow manages to sidestep every problem conventional video game movies tend to have. The writing is funny and the characters are instantly iconic. I liked when Ralph called Vanellope "Baroness Boogerface."

A modern classic. Very distinctive from other Disney movies, at times it reminds me of Shrek because of the crude humor and references. The problems with this movie are mostly just bunch of small things, like the random Rhianna song and the uselessness of basically every character other than Ralph and Venelope. Good characters, good story, good animation, good movie.
