Nacho Libre is an acquired taste, but that's a taste I doubt I'll ever aquire. This movie tries to be bad-funny like the style of Napoleon Dynamite, but I guess that target is really hard to hit right; this movie is kind of just bad. Most of the budget was used to hire Jack Black, who is a little bit funny sometimes, but is kind of boring after a while, though he does have a few funny interactions with other characters. Some scenes are also so obviously greenscreened for seemingly no reason. I first saw this movie with the volume off in the background of a Cinco de Mayo party, and that's how I think it's best experienced.

One of Jack Black's most iconic roles and iconic movies. Jack Black plays the funny Nacho and this movie riffs on Mexican wrestling. Overall, really funny film and if you don't think it's funny go to the doctor to get your humor tumor removed.

This lighthearted comedy will keep you laughing your head off from beginning to end. I have watched it numerous times and it never fails to disappoint. The gags are dumb, but still get a laugh out of me every time I see them. If you're going into this movie with the expectations that it's some crazy incredible inspirational emotional film, you will be disappointed. It's not some crazy blockbuster or anything, but still an amazing movie for the whole family to enjoy.

It's like Napoleon Dynamite but less funny. It did hold my attention the whole way through and had a decent story, but I wouldn't really watch it more than once.
