This movie has a boring plot, but honestly, it makes up for it with its presentation. The animation is crude and edgy, and I love it. It's refreshing to see animated characters that aren't drawn to be cute and marketable, but rather gnarly and gross. I like how Splinter is more of a Dad than a sensei, April is more of a nerd than a love interest, and the turtles are more like teens than ninjas. The dialogue is Super Bad-esque, which is a perfect fit for TMNT. The voice acting is perfect. Trent Reznor's musical score is the best I've heard all year. His killer techno-rock complements this movie as well as cheese complements wine. I was going through something tough last week, and this movie managed to cheer me up. I adore it despite the boring plot. I cannot wait for the sequel.

This particular movie was not bad. It surpassed my expectation of terrible. Then again, it is Ninja Turtles. The art style is really cool; it's not often you see it. The characters were awesome which included many people such as Jackie Chan and Giancarlo Esposito as the voice actors. The story is stable. However, the turtles are teenagers so naturally there will be awkward, cringe, and annoying moments.

It's alright. The animation style stands out the most of anything in the movie, and even that gets a little tiring to watch at times. The story is mega generic. There were LOTS of pop culture references and teenager slang lines, but I will give this movie credit for not being the worst at that. The main characters are teenagers after all, and when they goof off they do actually kind of resemble bros in real life goofing off. Still, April saying "sus" six times in the span of one minute was pretty stupid.

This was a very fun movie to watch based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Seth Rogan dove into their teenage years. I don't know if it's canon or not, but I liked the story. Watching with The Bois made it more fun.

The newest installment in the franchise and this is definitely the best since 1990 TMNT. With stellar animation and the best use of it since Spider-Verse, Mutant Mayhem is definitely the most fun Turtles movie out there. A fresh new take on why they choose to be heroes and the first instance of actual Mutants in the movie (besides Out of the Shadows), this movie is awesome for TMNT fans. Also these Turtles are teenage accurate too. This is definitely the best one, but 1990 is my favorite still. Overall great and funny movie and you guys suck if you bomb it.

Garrett's and my cringe counter reached twenty. Most of the pop culture references will most definitely be dated in a few years. Most jokes went on too long and became a little awkward. Not terrible plot; characters were pretty likable.

Ok so Seth Rogan did deliver on what he said: that he wanted to expand on the teenage. Overall the movie was great and entertaining, and while it did have a lot of references, the AoT reference was actually useful.
