Well I enjoyed it. The thing is that it’s not very scary. I don’t fell like I was very scared at all, but it’s not to say it’s not a good movie. With cameos like Matpat and Cory it’s pretty cool. Memorable is a good way to say it. But the funny thing is my mom was watching it with me and she just broke it down in 2 seconds and found a lot of plot holes. First his aunt is dead in Mike’s house how would she had disposed of the body, and how did the police not question Mike of having one their officers go to the hospital. Though this won’t affect how I see the movie. Good movie

The animatronics look cool and that's the only thing notable about this movie. Boring, pretentious, unoriginal, not scary in the slightest, and just to emphasize it more, boring. This movie felt like it was four hours long. The plot was about as captivating as the games. The fan service is cringe. When MatPat showed up I died (I have an extra life pass so it's okay). This movie is just another bad Blumhouse film, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I think this movie is more of a summary of what happened than a movie that explains the actual timeline and lore. Tbh, this movie wasn't that scary as I thought it would be leaning towards the jumpscares from the movie which was pretty unlikely to happen due to Mike's plot armor. For the plot and story, I just don't understand why it takes place in the late 2000s because the original fnaf 1 took place in 1993. Also why did they make Vanessa related to William Afton? I just don't get why so many things changed from the games, like the springlock failure (I know it's PG-13 but still). It was more based on the book The Silver Eyes and the books aren't canon to the timeline/lore. I liked how William Afton was able to control the animatronics because that's a cool little detail we didn't get in the games. I don't get how they weren't able to recognize him in the Spring Bonnie suit. Did they choose not to cuz they were afraid? Idk. Good movie but it contains lots of plot holes and changes from games. Great cameos from MatPat and CoryxKenshin. References like Sparky the dog, Shadow Freddy, and Tortured Freddy just didn't make sense though. I enjoyed this movie a lot in theaters but once I think about it and its "relations" to the lore, I just see it as a summary. If you're a first time fnaf watcher you won't get the line "I always come back". Long ahh review ik. 😭

I was really suprised when I first heard that a Five Nights at Freddy's movie was being made despite it being a relatively small indie game (at least publicity-wise it's not like Mario or Sonic). But anyway, when it comes to the movie, man was this movie so boring. Literally for the first hour-thirty it's just random legal trouble and dumb flashbacks. Like I get the movie is gonna have a different story from the games but like why did it have to be this boring. Even the ending, when stuff happens, it got cringe with the "springlock" scene. In fact, any attempt at fan service fell flat and just wasn't good. Really only Balloon Boy and the Cupcake were enjoyable. And, like Garrett said, all of the animatronics looked high. When it came to the score there was like barely any and when there was it felt generic. Even when it came to the acting, only Matthew Lillard had a memorable performance but not for the good reasons. Mainly this movie was full of horror clichés and had very little action and thin characters. Now, not a lot of action isn't necessarily bad. Invasion of the Body Snatchers had low action and that was good. It's just that there isn't any psychological part to it so it is just mindless boredom and violence. Yeah, really overall that's what I have to say. I think the main reason why it was bad was not Scott Cawthon, but studio interference from Universal. I think if they do a sequel they need to tone down the amount of characters too and add psychological horror to it.

Bruh NOTHING HAPPENED UNTIL THE LAST 20 MINUTES. That was goofy. They literally just did random things for no reason for the first hour. It looks cool tho.
