The Incredibles

One of the best superhero movies ever. It manages to have plenty of action while also exploring some interesting philosophical questions. This movie's message about shoving away mediocrity and favoring the exceptional is daring. The dialogue is fantastic. I have some problems with the animation, and honestly a lot of characters have dumb motivations, but otherwise this movie is a classic and one of Pixar's best.

A unique and epic animated superhero movie. I've watched this about ten times now and I still find cool little details in the writing. It pokes fun at classic stereotypes, like caped heroes and villain monologuing. Watch this movie if you're tired of generic superhero movies and want something actually deep.
