Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Sequel to the first Sonic movie, Sonic 2 expands upon franchise quiet a lot with the introductions of Knuckles, Tails and the Chaos Emeralds. There is a lot of fun moments in this movie, especially with the final fight at the end when Sonic turns into Super Sonic. Jim Carey puts on a great performance as Eggman, really stepping up the zany energy from when we saw him in the first Sonic The Hedgehog. However with all these highs there is a few minor lows mainly when it comes to the human characters. For some reason ever since Transformers, studios think we care about the completely original characters in comic franchises. The whole wedding thing is unnecessary and Tails introduction I think is poorly handled. But overall the movie is pretty fun, though not as much as the first one. Too bad though Jim Carey retired though...

I had high hopes for this movie because I liked the first one. Very disappointed

Just as unfunny and bland as the first one. The only thing I liked better about this is that it went slightly more off of the games. It still had the same amount of nonsense added, though. Knuckles was alright.
