Megamind

For countless superhero stories, one question always hangs over the air: what happens when the bad guy wins? Megamind answers that question. It puts your average campy superhero and supervillain together and puts a clever twist on it that only something Dreamworks can do. Megamind is funny, it has a good story, good characters, and good memes. This is one of my favorite superhero movies because it truly does something creative in an overly saturated hero industry. Overall awesome film and something I would highly recommend watching for all superhero fans.

Megamind takes an overused trope of a 'good bad guy' and somehow comes out with an really clever story. Unfortunately, it felt like the depth of the concept was watered down a little too much at times with some of the childish humor, but overall it is super enjoyable. I am writing this review after seeing this for somewhere around the tenth time. Still slaps. I highly recommend this movie if you want something fun and unique.
