I really enjoyed this movie the plot was like every other movie and basic but it was well executed and it is regarded as a great classic comedy and I think it still lives up to that.

If you liked Napoleon Dynamite, this one has a similar vibe: simple, character-focused, and subtly funny. There are some annoying clichés that drag it down, though (namely the principal scenes). The minimal editing/soundtrack gives it a natural feel. It's oddly comforting, and reminds us to take it easy sometimes (but maybe not as easy as Bueller)

Regarded as one of the classic comedy films, Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a pretty funny movie. All of the scenes with the principal were funny and Ferris's shenanigans throughout the day were too. However, as I was watching this movie I couldn't help but notice that, despite everyone in the movie and IRL telling me Ferris is awesome, he's kinda an a-hole. Also even though when his friend decides to stand up for himself finally was pretty powerful, it felt out of place in the movie. Like this is a comedy, not Stand by Me. Also I know this movie is old but it really got me at the poor editing part when he is lip-syncing to the Beatles. Overall pretty sound and funny movie with the ending and all the principal scenes being my favorite.
