Shrek

This movie is unironically an iconic masterpiece. The dialog is absolutely amazing and engraved in our modern culture. The story is not only meta but also very engaging and emotionally sophisticated. The characters are all lovable. The score is great. The animation still holds up today. It is funny as shit. Farquad is such a great villain who is a great contrast to the main character. The soundtrack is iconic and helps with the movie's personality. Every scene impacts the next, nothing feels like filler. This movie is genuinely ground breaking, as it inspired almost every mainstream animated movie that came after it. It is genuinely a 10/10 and I urge you to watch it.

Shrek is a very unique movie flipping the fairytale norms on their heads and being very funny. Also it spawned one of the greatest meme characters

Overall good movie, story could have been a little better though.
