Frankenstein

This movie looks great, Jacob Elordi and Oscar Isaac give great performances, the fantasy stuff is cool, and I found maybe half of the movie to be compelling. I just couldn’t get into this. The writing was very pretentious and I never felt the need to care about any of the characters. A ton of the effects look really bad as well. Textbook example of style over substance.
