KPop Demon Hunters

I found this movie pretty cringe if I’m being quite honest, but I will complement the music because the music is genuinely good and I find it Impressive it topped charts and won a Grammy, now to the problems I found the animation kinda static especially during the fight scenes and the love story felt kinda odd, especially considering the guy was married and left his wife and kid like 200 years ago. Not to mention the story felt like it been done multiple times before. The best way to describe the movie is as mid.

This movie has some very cringe moments and the story has definitely been done before, but it was very fun. The animation is impressive, but I also want to complement the editing. There are some cool editing decisions in this movie that make it stand out among the mainstream animated movie crowd. I also thought it was emotionally solid, which I wasn’t expecting. Edit: I rewatched this with my siblings and I don’t think it’s emotionally effective on rewatch. It feels very melodramatic.
