Superman Returns

A legacy sequel to Christopher Reeves Superman 2, Brandon Routh takes the role of Superman and for the most part this movie plays it safe. It tries to bring back old fans by saying its a sequel to Superman 2 and retconning Superman 3 and 4 (which is a good thing) but still treats itslef like a origin story even though it doesnt have to. Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor is one of the best casting decisions they did byt ultimately his Lex falls flat due to a kinda dumb plan. I will say though this Superman movie did emphasize on Superman and Lois though sadly at the cost of action and fighting. Overall its just ok and thats all I can really say about it
