Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

While I haven't seen their cancelled tv show, I will say this has probably been one of the better turtle movies in years. The opening apocalyptic sequence was dark but amazing. Surprisingly for how light-hearted/annoying/bad their show is, this movie was very dark. This movie unlike Out of the Shadows fully showcases the Krangs power. This movie very well could have been an 80, however Leo starts off very annoying and not at all like leader version of him like all the other portray but luckily, he grows into it and the other thing was when Leo sacrifices himself and gets blocked off in another dimension and somehow Mikey saves him also I know that in their show they have powers, (and they still do in this movie) which I don't like very much because it's not canon, they have their powers taken away from them most of the movie so it's nice to see them operate without them. Overall, good movie and one that's been overdue for the turtles in years.
