The Greatest Showman

Commits the same sins most musicals do: awkwardly inserted songs, "musical logic" in the story, and just a general lack of self-awareness. The message is solid, though often shoved in your face. I liked the set designs—and for what it's worth, it's definitely not boring.

Memorable songs, impressive sets, and thoughtful themes. One of these themes is about accepting people born with oddities. Unfortunately, this movie is scarred by the normalization craze going on in our world right now. I can't look at the Bearded Lady the same, gosh darn it! Anyway, I still enjoy this movie after around my seventh watch through, so that says something.
