The Great Mouse Detective

I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie. Most old Disney movies I really only like a lot because I watched it as a kid. But The Great Mouse Detective was actually a really good Disney movie. Obviously it was Disney's version of Sherlock Holmes, but it had a really good story too. And Professor Ratigan was such an interesting villain. Most Disney villains want power or are just bad to be bad, but the whole rivalry with him against Basil over who was the smartest was really good. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would and Professor Ratigan is a really good villain.
