Evil Dead Rise

Evil Dead Rise serves as a prequel to the Ash vs. Evil Dead series. I enjoyed every little detail that referenced the old 2000s Ash vs. Evil Dead movies. My family and I were a little scared in theaters, especially sitting up front and personal but I'm not removing any points for that. It was more of a zombie-themed movie than an actual supernatural reboot to the earlier movies in the franchise. The story has a mother who gets possessed and kills half her family.
